Salman Khan’s upcoming film, Tubelight is too close to its release and just a few days back actor got into trouble for his anti-war statement. He said, “People who order war should be asked to go to war themselves. Take this gun and go to war and it will get over in a day. They will tremble and shake and they will eventually take the route of dialogues and discussions.” Soon after this comment, there were lot of opinions out there with most of them going against Salman.

Finally now, Tubelight’s director Kabir Khan has come out in support of the actor for his anti-war statement saying. Kabir told a leading daily, “I see no problem with the statement. He just said war is a waste of resources, human life and time for any country. Nobody wants to go to war. What is wrong with that statement? Anybody who says going to war is great, I think, is acting stupid.”

He further added, “I think getting trolled for anything you say is becoming a bit too much. You don't need to agree with everything that everybody said but screaming, shouting and getting abusive is ridiculous. Try and understand the point that is being made and in its context.”

Well, we hope none of this will come in the makers way to release the film. Tubelight will be released on June 23, 2017.
