Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead has made it to the list of top 10 highest grossing Hindi films ever. Made on the life of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, Sanju traced the life of star and showed his battle against drugs, failed relationships and more. Even though film gave Dutt a way out to put forward his side of story, there were several questions which were still left unanswered. However, throwing more light on the same, Sanjay Dutt has decided to pen down his autobiography to share the stories which he “never had the chance to tell before”.
The memoir will reportedly release next year on the star’s 60th birthday. Commenting on the same, Sanjay Dutt said, “I have had the fortune of living a remarkable life, full of ups and downs, joys and sorrows. There are so many interesting stories to tell that I've never had the chance to tell before. I am looking forward to sharing my memories and emotions with readers everywhere,”
According to publishers, with this book, people would learn about actor’s Bollywood stint in the 1980s and '90s, his experiences in prison, and his self-discovery.
It’s the first time that the actor himself will be opening up about the highs and lows of his life. Right from losing his mother Nargis Dutt when he was making his debut in Rocky to his battle with substance abuse, multiple heartbreaks, encounters with the law and his stint in prison, his closeness to father Sunil Dutt, his return to the big screen, his family and more.
