Birthday boy, Vicky Kaushal is on cloud nine. This seems to be his best birthday so far. "It feels like the entire nation has given me a birthday gift this year," he smiles. Clearly so as his latest release Raazi has not just done huge business at the box-office but also has won audiences' hearts and rave reviews.
This is a working birthday but a special one for Vicky. It was a quiet family affair last night with Vicky, his mother and brother at home, cutting the cake at midnight. Vicky's mother cooked Vicky's favourite dishes for dinner while
Vicky's father, Sham Kaushal unfortunately wasn't around. He is away in Dehradun working on the set of Student Of The Year 2. But he sent Vicky a heart-touching video wishing him and showering his love and blessings that got Vicky quite emotional.

Today Vicky has a four hour long workshop with the team of Uri, reading script and rehearsals getting into the skin of the character. Then he gets together with Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Meghna Gulzar and the team of Raazi to celebrate the success of their film.
After which Vicky plans to spend time and celebrate his day with his college friends. "They've been my close friends for years through thick and thin and are my go to people in any and every phase of life. I would definitely want to share this day with them as well." It won't be a loud and crazy night but a nice sit down dinner where the friends get to meet and indulge in conversations.
Overall, Vicky is happy for the way this past year has treated him and the gifts he's receiving in terms of love and appreciation from the audiences with the success of Raazi. And he's looking forward to the coming year with a newfound zeal and enthusiasm. We wish him a very happy birthday and a fabulous year ahead.
